About Olympus TTL

TTL ("Through-the-Lens") flash metering allows the camera to evaluate the scene and automatically adjust compatible strobe output. Faster and more accurate than manual flash, ideal for macro, wide-angle, and CFWA photography.

Electrical flash triggering

Connecting an electrical sync cord is quick and easy. Electrical triggering provides higher accuracy, faster rapid firing, and fewer missed flashes compared to fiber optic triggers. Using electrical TTL also greatly extends strobe battery life.

Flexibility

Switch easily between TTL and manual modes. A bright LED indicates the current mode. Compatible with many Olympus cameras and Ikelite strobes. Allows firing two strobes in TTL from a single converter.
