The OMS 1-meter (3.3 ft) closed level safety parachute is made of Cordura, a polyurethane-coated nylon. This parachute is designed to ensure optimal sealing with a weld along its entire length, reinforced with a stitched binding for added durability.

It features a sewn strap at the bottom with a D-ring for easy attachment of a line or reel. The bungee cord keeps the parachute rolled up when not in use for convenience. Inflation can be done by mouth or via the Direct System. A manual purge at the bottom also acts as a safety valve.
