This next-generation housing offers an optimal grip thanks to its well-crafted design. Its clear Lexan rear door allows easy verification of the alignment of the camera and controls inside. The specially formulated gray color reflects heat, which is particularly useful for cameras filming in 4K. It also offers superior contrast for better LCD screen visibility compared to black or clear housings. The levers and buttons allow complete control of the camera's main functions.

A waterproof flash port allows the use of a compatible Ikelite external flash (DS51, 125, 160, 161). The synchronization cable system disables the camera's internal flash, thus extending battery life. A hotshoe TTL converter, sold separately, is required to activate the TTL function.

This housing is also equipped with an extra-large, flexible zoom control, allowing fine and precise focal adjustments. A 1/2" vacuum valve is included to check the housing's seal before each dive (manual pump ref. (IKE 47011-00), sold separately). It is ideal for diving, surfing, and also for use in pools.

Important: The housing is shipped without a port. The port is essential to ensure the system’s watertightness and must be purchased separately, depending on the lens used. We recommend consulting us for personalized advice on selecting a compatible port.

This housing provides access to the essential camera controls, except for:

• Diopter adjustment wheel
• Mode selector
• Media compartment cover switch
• Control dial
• Focus mode dial
• Focus mode dial release button

Compatible ports and domes:

The DL "DRY LOCK" port system is compatible with most lenses.

Compatible external flashes:

The use of an external flash is highly recommended to improve color rendering and subject exposure. The housing does not support fiber-optic flash triggering.

To enjoy TTL functionality with Ikelite flashes, a TTL DL2 Sony ST1 converter (ref. (IKE 46042-00)) is required and must be purchased separately.
